How to hide a drive using cmd in win8,8.1,7 and above

If you are window user ,you know that hiding private and confidential data to protect  from others .Many one of them searching on the internet to hide the data .There many tools are available on 

internet such as folderlock  and many others  which was present on internet .But  you cant lock every folder to protect and its waste of to lock every folder and files .Everyone is searching and downloading these types of tool . But some time these tools are not more effective.The Method which i will tell   you  it old more effective than others tool but everyone not focus or you can tell that they not try . Hide Drive using CMD

1] Open an elevated command prompt, type Diskpart and hit Enter.

2] Type List Volume and hit Enter.

3] Now type select and the numeral against the letter of the Drive (eg. it could be G Drive), which you want to hide. For instance, it could be Select Volume 6. Hit Enter.

4] Finally, type Remove Letter G and hit Enter.
You will see a message – Diskpart successfully removed the drive letter or mount point.

To show the hidden drive, follow steps 1, 2, 3 mentioned above.

Now type Assign Letter D and hit Enter. This will show the drive in Explorer.
